Busan's mayor sent a proposal to President Yoon Suk-yeol to allow the BTS members to fulfill their military service through their roles as PR Ambassadors for Busan's application to host the World Expo 2030. Remember, the bid has not been secured and the Busan mayor seems to think competition is heating up between Korea, Saudi Arabia and Italy. He really needs BTS and the Army on his side.
