What ever happened to the site of the tragic Sampoong Department Store collapse from 1995? In the span of 20 seconds on that ill-fated, scorching-hot day, the building fell like pancakes in free fall. Over 500 people perished and nearly 1,000 were injured while shopping and working at the exclusive, high-end shopping center.
